Meet the Squirrel Team for 30th Warrington Scout Group!
My Scouting journey began with the birth of my first son. I was keen to support him to develop skills and make friends outside of school. We joined Beavers and watched his confidence grow week after week. He was encouraged by supportive and caring leaders whom he grew to love. Since then my second son has followed in his footsteps into Cubs.
I’ve worked in the NHS for 21 years as a speech and language therapist. This has given me the opportunity to work with children and young people and I’ll bring communication skills and perseverance to this role along with a willingness to have a go at anything. I’ll look forward to seeing this willingness to try in the children during their Scouting journey.
I enjoyed my time in the Cubs section watching the Cubs develop their confidence. As a Squirrel leader, I am really looking forward to being a part of the youngest members journey into Scouting and I know I'll be learning new things along the way.
